What is MaPS?

MaPS stands for The Money and Pensions Service. They have set up the Travel Insurance Directory through MoneyHelper, for travellers who might be finding it difficult to find travel insurance due to pre-existing medical conditions. This can include those who have ongoing treatment, who are on a waiting list, or have been faced with having their medical condition completely excluded from cover.

The MoneyHelper Travel Insurance Directory gives consumers access to several specialist providers at once, and provides you with the contact details for insurers who may be able to help.
